Tajweed Course Requirements

Our structured course in Quran recitation and Tajweed offers students a comprehensive learning experience tailored to different proficiency levels. The prerequisites for each level vary based on the student’s age and their Arabic language proficiency. Here’s a detailed breakdown of requirements for each stage:

Stage 1: Foundation in Quran Recitation

The student should be at least 4 years old.

Stage 2: Building Tajweed Proficiency

The student should be at least 8 years old. Requires initial training in Quranic words to enhance Quran recitation skills.

Stage 3: Mastering Intermediate Tajweed

The student should be at least 10 years old. Must be capable of reading directly from the Quran.

Stage 4: Excellence in Tajweed Application

The student should be at least 12 years old. Should possess a sound understanding of essential Tajweed rules. Requires intensive study focusing on letter characteristics, articulation points, relationships between letters, and mastery of the rules of stopping and starting in Quran recitation.
